MY STORY

I love textiles in all shapes and forms. There are so many great ways to make something from scraps of cloth, ends  of yarn. I am foremost a maker. It starts with being curious, wondering how something that catches your eye is made. Literally at my mother's knee I learned all about knitting, crocheting, sewing.

I used to sit with her helping a little with taking care of the weekly darning jobs. Learning to fill the holes in socks, putting on buttons but also playing with the tin with all those colorful buttons, arranging them by color, shape of extraordiness. That was the start. 

On this website you will find a treasure trove of beautiful items; project bags, pouches and totes, embellished with embroidery or handprinted ornaments. I knit by hand or machine. I sew lovely cushions using scraps of beautiful luxurious upholstery fabric.
